In partnership with Ubuntu Pledge and Creative OneStop, and with partial funding support from the Westway Trust, we embarked on a powerful process of rebranding and digital transformation. This initiative was not just about updating our look; it was about modernising how we work, communicate, and serve our members every day.
Over several weeks, our leadership team worked closely with Ubuntu Pledge and Creative OneStop to achieve the following:
We also received hands-on digital training to help our team feel confident using modern tools that make our daily work smoother and more connected.
One of the most inspiring parts of this journey came during the launch event itself. After the presentation of our new logo, website, and brand direction, members were invited to vote on whether to officially adopt the new identity.
Out of 43 members present, 40 voted in favour, a clear and heartwarming show of unity and belief in EEWA’s vision for the future.
This moment reminded us that our strength lies in our collective voice. The process wasn’t just done for us; it was done with us.
The launch event was filled with joy, gratitude, and reflection. Guests enjoyed delicious food and uplifting presentations from Daniel Abbay of Ubuntu Pledge and Eyob Tesfazghi, our Chairman.
We were honoured to welcome guests from the Westway Trust, whose support made this transformation possible. Their presence underscored the shared commitment to strengthening community organisations like ours.
The event wasn’t just a celebration of a completed project; it was a celebration of progress, partnership, and pride.
As we move forward, EEWA stands stronger, more connected, and ready to continue serving our community with renewed purpose.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ubuntu Pledge, Creative Onestop, and the Westway Trust for walking alongside us in this transformative journey.
This new chapter is more than a rebrand; it’s a reflection of who we are, what we stand for, and how we continue to grow together as a community.
